It can be tough figuring out your finances on your own — that’s where we come in. Our Financial Mentor Service is a one-on-one support service where we work with you, not just for you. We prefer to meet face-to-face, but we’ll work in the way that suits you best.
Everyone’s situation is different, so we tailor our support to fit you. One of the key tools we use is a personal cashflow budget. It’s not only helpful for showing financial hardship when needed – it’s also a great way to understand where your money’s going and make a plan to move forward.
If you’re applying for KiwiSaver Hardship, we can support you with that too. We’ll help you pull together the financial evidence required and offer guidance with filling out the forms from your KiwiSaver provider or any other financial organisation. We know these processes can feel overwhelming, and we’re here to make it a little easier.
The more you engage with us, the more we can help – so we focus on building a strong, respectful relationship with you from day one. We’re here to walk alongside you, listen without judgment, and support you every step of the way.
We can also talk to creditors on your behalf to help manage debt, and if you’d like, we can refer you to other community services for extra support.
All our services are free to people in the Rotorua region, and you’re welcome to come back as many times as you need.
All it takes is a bit of your time – so get in touch and let’s take that first step together.
